Every Nathan Aubrey ring is made to order in the US size you choose, so getting the size right before you order matters. Measure a ring you already wear or get sized at a local jeweler, then read your US size from the chart below. Wide bands usually need a half size up.
What is my men’s ring size in US sizes?
US ring sizes are numbers (8, 9, 10, 13.5) that describe the inside diameter of the band in millimeters. Our size options are US sizes first, with the UK / AU letter after it as a conversion, for example “10 / T.5”. Find your measurement in the chart and read across. Once you have your size, choose your metal in Men’s Platinum Wedding Rings, Men’s Gold Wedding Rings or Men’s Silver Wedding Rings.

If you measured the inside of an existing ring, use the diameter column. If you know your finger’s circumference, use the circumference column. Letter charts vary slightly between jewelers, so the millimeter figure is the one to trust.
My fiance requested a minimalist wedding band, polished, no external features, 950 platinum and size 14 Z+3 and this was so difficult to find because most other jewellers did not even offer this size or advised of significant wait time for this "custom" large size. Other jewellers were also unclear of the platinum quality, so we also appreciated being able to select the 950 platinum option to ensure durability and avoid the eventual tarnish of lower quality platinum. MRO was hassle free, great value for money and the ring is perfect. The staff were amazing and prompt and we even had a lovely message from the owner to congratulate us. The inner engraving is also beautiful and we are so happy to support this Australian owned and operated business. Highly recommend, thank you MRO!
How do I measure my ring size at home?
1. Measure a ring you already wear
Take a ring that fits the correct finger, lay it on a ruler and measure the inside edge to inside edge in millimeters at the widest point. Match that number to the diameter column. Measure twice; a 0.4 mm difference is a half size.
2. Get sized at a local jeweler
Most jewelers can size your finger in a minute. Ask for your US size and the measurement in millimeters, and tell them the width of the band you are ordering.
How do I get an accurate measurement?
- Measure at the end of the day, at normal room temperature. Fingers are smaller first thing in the morning and in the cold.
- The ring has to pass over the knuckle. If your knuckle is much larger than the base of your finger, size for the knuckle and accept a slightly looser fit at the base.
- Width changes fit. A band 6 mm or wider sits on more of the finger and feels tighter than a slim band in the same size. Most men go up a half size for wide bands. Each product page lists the widths offered for that design.
- All Nathan Aubrey bands are comfort fit, with a rounded inside edge that slides on more easily than a flat-inside ring.
- Do not rely on a string or paper strip. It stretches and pulls tighter than a ring would, and the error is often a full size.
What if I am between two sizes?
Because your ring is made to order, the size you choose at checkout is the size we make. If you are unsure between two sizes, or ordering a ring as a surprise, email [email protected] before you order and we will help you decide.
What if the fit isn’t right?
Rings are made to order and final sale, so please check your size first. If your ring needs a different size after delivery, see Ring Resizing and Returns and Exchanges, or email us. To compare metals before you choose, read Ring Materials or browse all Men’s Wedding Rings.
